The description of the Klusha tomato variety indicates that it is adapted for cultivation in all climatic zones of Russia. It has good resistance to major diseases of nightshade crops. This is confirmed by numerous reviews. The best yield is achieved when growing a bush with 2-4 stems... Growing features

To figure out how to grow Klusha tomatoes, the process should be divided into several significant stages:

  • soil preparation;
  • selection and processing of healthy seeds;
  • planting for germination for seedlings;
  • picking seedlings;
  • disembarkation on prepared ridges;
  • care and feeding during growth.

It is worth dwelling in a little more detail on each of these significant parts.

Soil preparation

If for growing tomatoes "Klusha" for seedlings is taken land from their own garden, then it is imperative to decontaminate the soil. The simplest option is watering with a manganese solution... The solution is prepared at the rate of one gram of potassium permanganate per two liters of water.

Prepared soil is poured with the prepared solution. The best option would be soil from the ridges on which zucchini, legumes, carrots, and parsley were grown. You can use a substrate purchased from a specialized store, in which case additional processing is not required. Read about how to prepare the soil in the greenhouse in spring here.

Selection and processing of seeds

One of the easiest ways to select complete seeds is as follows. Pour the seeds into a saline solution (a tablespoon in a glass of water). Remove the seeds that have floated to the top, rinse the seeds that have settled to the bottom under running water and dry.

Before germination, pickle the seeds in a solution of manganese or the drug "Virtan-Micro"... Place the treated seeds in a damp gauze for germination. Carefully monitor the humidity, not allowing the gauze to dry out. Excessive hydration is also not recommended.

Planting seedlings

On a note! The ideal option for planting a Klusha tomato would be to use plastic containers with ready-made holes for good drainage.

You can also use special mini greenhouses. Planting is recommended in grooves with a depth of 1.0-1.5 centimeters... Sprinkle on top with soil, bringing the depth of planting seeds to 2.0 centimeters, slightly compact the earth, pour water at room temperature. Close the box with foil or glass, place in a warm, well-lit place. Remove the glass after the sprouts appear. Stimulants can be used to accelerate the growth process.

Seedling picking

During the growth period of 2-4 true leaves, the seedlings are picked, seating them in separate containers. They can be peat glasses, cut juice bags. The seedling is transferred along with the root ball of soil. After picking for a couple of days, plantings should be shaded.

After rooting, the seedlings are placed in lighted places for further growth.... The seedlings prepared for planting have a stem thickness of about 8-9 millimeters, the height reaches at least 20 centimeters with well-formed leaves and inflorescences.

Landing in the ground

The land on the ridges is prepared in advance. It is desirable to introduce humus, wood ash, sawdust rotted for at least a year. Dig a shovel to the depth of the bayonet, prepare the holes. Before planting, each hole is spilled with half a bucket of warm water... Saplings of the Klusha tomato variety, given the small height of the bush, should not be deeply buried.

Care, feeding, watering

The seedlings planted in the holes in the process of growth need watering with warm water, which is carried out after sunset in order to avoid burning the leaves during the day. Weeds needing, loosening of the soil... Mulching is good for weed control. At least twice during the period of growth and vegetation, plants need top dressing with full mineral fertilizer.

Can also be used as fertilizer for tomatoes:

  • Organic.
  • Ashes.
  • Iodine.
  • Yeast.
  • Hydrogen peroxide.
  • Ammonia.
  • Boric acid.

Diseases and pests

As already mentioned, the variety has good resistance to the main diseases of nightshade crops. However, information on the most common diseases of tomatoes in greenhouses and measures to control them may be useful to you.

Several “Super Klusha” tomato bushes planted on the plot will provide you with tasty fruits suitable for consumption, fresh and perfect for all types of winter harvesting.
